John Lewis has seen mixed results at its electricals and home technology department, after sales fell overall by 13.9 per cent year on year.
The retailer put much of the fall down to lower sales of vision products compared to the same last year. However, according to director of selling operations at John Lewis, Dan Knowles, the retailer saw a major boost in imaging products.
"Imaging had a great week up 33 per cent," Knowles said. He suggested that the reason for the boost might be to do with: "customers getting ready for the holiday period."
