The high street retail chain John Lewis is rethinking its expansion and is unsure whether or not planned developments will go ahead, according to Marketing Week.In 2003, the chain announced that it would be opening at least ten new stores by 2014. Four have been built with another two expected to be completed this year.
Plans for another nine stores around the country remain unconfirmed and it is likely that they will be shelved for the time being.
