Steve Jobs has been confirmed as the keynote speaker at this year's annual Worldwide Developers Conference, held this year in San Francisco. His keynote, which will take place on June 9th has been widely speculated as the platform at which the company will announce a 3G version of its iPhone, however, Apple has been quick to dispel that rumour, saying that it will be primarily about Leopard – which was missing last year due to a delay in getting the iPhone's OS ready – and the new version of the iPhone's software.
It's also expected that he will build upon the announcement of the recently announced Applications Store and iPhone SDK.
