Apple is focusing resources on its much-rumoured Tablet device, including the personal attention of its chief executive Steve Jobs.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Jobs has been working on the product since he returned in late June following a break due to medical reasons. The break is said to have had a major impact on the working environment within the product's development team.
"Those working on the project are under intense scrutiny from Mr. Jobs, particularly with regard to the product's advertising and marketing strategy," claimed a source close to the company.
However, the in a rare response, Steve Jobs claimed that much of the information reported by the newspaper, was "incorrect".
