The retailer's newly updated website states the business will relaunch soon in an online-only form

Jessops relaunch ‘coming soon’

Jessops is set to relaunch in an online-only capacity, a statement on the retailer’s website has revealed.

The company’s website has been updated with a new holding page, which informs users that "the new Jessops website will be launching soon," and encourages consumers to sign-up for updates.

Falling into administration earlier this year, Jessops was quickly forced to close down all 187 of its UK stores, but was ultimately saved from extinction by Dragon’s Den entrepreneur Peter Jones.

Jones has emphasised his desire to relaunch the 78-year-old brand as an online-only retailer, after buying out the firm’s naming rights on January 31st.

As the brand prepares to relaunch online, there has yet to be any word on the reopening of High Street stores, and if it could happen down the line.

The possibility remains as Jessops’ existing customer base is set to be transferred to Jones’ new company, Jessops Data Limited, next month, whilst a link on the brand’s updated website directs to the newly launched Jessops Photo Printing business.
