The iTunes Store has passed the ten billion download mark, Apple has announced.
The ten billionth song to be downloaded was Johnny Cash’s ‘Guess Things Happen That Way’.
Apple has awarded a $10,000 iTunes gift voucher to Louie Sulcer, who purchased the track, achieving the milestone for the store.
Apple also announced the most popular songs to be bought from iTunes. The top five are:
1. Black Eyed Peas – I Gotta Feeling
2. Lady GaGa – Poker Face
3. Black Eyed Peas – Boom Boom Pow
4. Jason Mraz – I’m Yours
5. Coldplay – Viva La Vida
