Is your PC ready for the Oculus Rift? Find out here

Now we know that the Oculus Rift is going to cost UK gamers £500, you better make sure your PC is ready for the virtual reality headset.

For the full Rift experience, Oculus has detailed its PC system recommendations, here they are:

– Graphics card: NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD R9 290 equivalent or greater
– Processor: Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
– Memory: 8GB+ RAM
– Output: Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output
– Input: 3x USB 3.0 ports plus 1x USB 2.0 port
– Operating system: Windows 7 SP1 64 bit or newer

The firm has also created the Oculus compatibility tool, which lets users check whether their current PC meets the recommended specs.

Now available for pre-order, the virtual reality headset is limited to one device per user and starts shipping March 28th.
