Apple’s iPad went in to its pre-sales phase for American consumers today as it April 3rd release date approaches.
Unfortunately, according to Macworld, a release date has not yet been arranged for the UK, where potential customers will have to wait at least until the end of April.
Apple has allocated an undisclosed number of reservations for each of its Apple Stores, with all six models available for order – both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi plus 3G enabled SKUs – however only the Wi-Fi devices will be ready to ship on April 3rd. Orders of the Wi-Fi plus 3G devices could ship up to a month later.
