Viewers will be able to post live personalised Christmas messages

Intel to air live TV ads during X Factor final

Intel will air live festive messages during this weekend’s X Factor final in a bid to push the ‘creative possibilities’ of the brand.

Viewer will have the chance to have their message appear in 10-second spots during the shows adverts. They can do this by opening up Shazam when prompted, which will show them a special version of Intel’s ‘London Train’ advert. They will then be able to personalise a Christmas message to a loved one and submit a Facebook image.

Alistair Kemp, consumer marketing manager at Intel UK, said: "The Intel and ultrabook brands are all about the creative possibilities that our technology enables, so in offering viewers the chance to get involved and spread a bit of festive cheer, hopefully we’re giving them an experience they’ll value."

The firm’s ‘London Train’ ad features its latest ultrabook convertible. According to Intel it is ‘one part laptop, one part tablet, all parts bloody awesome’. Check out the ad below.
