Ingram Micro will distribute Google’s enterprise search technology in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, following a similar deal covering North America, Latin America and Asia last year. Products such as Google Mini and Google Search Appliance will be handled by the firm, following apparent heightened demand for the corporate search technology in the region.
“Today’s ability to access information in a secured, timely and easy manner can be critical to the success of a business. By adding the Google Mini and GSA to our portfolio, we are providing our channel partners with access to new revenue streams from one of the world’s most recognized brand names,” said Jay Forbes, president of Ingram Micro EMEA. “Our extended market reach and strong channel expertise make us the ideal partner for companies like Google who wish to reach out to a large audience”.
