Distributor Ingram Micro has signed up security vendor SonicWall, making it the vendor’s fifth distribution partner. The move is essentially an extension of the deal between the two firms which already exists in the US and other European territories.
"Ingram is one of our two global distributors and has done a great job elsewhere,” said Andy Zollo, UK and Ireland country manager at SonicWall. “This was not an overnight decision. Ingram is a trusted name in the channel and is able to put a strong focus on SonicWall.”
Bhavesh Patel, commercial director at Ingram Micro added: “We have a strong focus on the SME space which is key for SonicWall. Initially we will be focusing on reseller recruitment and we have at least 800 resellers that we want to target. We are confident that we can bring something new to the SonicWall market and provide value to our resellers.”
