Distribution giant Ingram Micro will host a new, large-scale show on October 6th for its retail and vendor partners, bolstering its list of unilateral trade events.
The exact venue cannot currently be revealed, though the firm told PCR: “Ingram Micro is planning on lighting up the future with an event which will be the industry’s first ‘expo high’. High over the skies of London, some of today’s brightest IT specialists will shed light on the future of the IT world. Save the date – it’s one not to be missed.”
Meanwhile, the firm hosted another of its long-standing reseller training events in Nottingham last month. One hundred resellers were in attendance to receive training from and network with a number of Ingram’s key vendor partners.
Keynote presentations were made by Symantec and Microsoft, and there were presentation training from Canon, Sony, Acer, Trend Micro, DLink and Blackberry. The event concluded with a gala dinner, prize draw ceremony and a disco.
