Ingram Micro today hosted a unilateral trade event in the heart of the capital, occupying the London Eye and the London Film Museum.
A number of big name vendors were in attendance on dedicated stands, with some taking to the skies in an exclusive pod on the London Eye to showcase their products, services and partner initiatives.
A range of keynotes also took place, featuring speakers from leading tech firms such as Microsoft, Symantec, Cisco, GfK and NBG.
HP had the largest presence with its Enterprise Servers and Storage division and Personal Systems Group occupying their own room, while Microsoft used the event to showcase its range of hardware and software products, as well as highlight its ongoing commitment to cloud services.
Sony had a broad range of products on its stand reflecting its holistic approach to consumer electronics. Having recently restructured to develop a dedicated B2B division, the firm was looking to raise awareness of its new channel focus as well as the varied range of products that it has under its belt.
Lexmark took the opportunity to show off its new range of high-end, low-running cost printers, aimed at the small to medium business market. Toshiba meanwhile was showcasing its new lightweight netbooks and external hard drives, as well as giving visitors a preview of its upcoming tablet PC.
