Ingram Micro has formed a partnership that will see it handle distribution of IBM power servers and high-end storage in Germany.
This latest announcement comes as Ingram Micro continues its drive to enhance its European value business, having signed an agreement to distribute HP products in Hungary.
Effective immediately, Ingram Micro will offer System P and System I Power Server units and High-End storage products, as well as consultancy and technical support.
“The value business is an important and growing area of our operations and is quickly becoming a key segment for our company,” said Ingram Micro’s EMEA president Alain Macquet.
“This latest agreement adds yet another country to our growing list of markets where we offer products in the value space. Furthermore, given that we can offer the complete IBM portfolio in Germany now, our team has significantly strengthened its position in a very competitive landscape.”
