Ingram Micro has hired Jason Beal as senior director of software and services at the firm's value division.
Effective January 1 2011, Beal will be based in Brussels and will report to Vincenzo Baggio – senior vice president of vendor management and business development for EMEA.
Beal will be responsible for developing 'go-to-market strategies' for the value software portfolio and services on a pan-European basis.
He joins the EMEA division from the distributor's North American operation, where he was director of service sales, value. He brings over 10 years of experience in the IT channel in sales, operations and service roles.
