Tiny Green PC, a provider of green IT solutions, has created an infographic to showcase the differences between consumer and industrial PCs.
It points out that consumer PCs – what we think of as traditional desktop machines – are well designed for homes and offices, but less so for commercial use. Yet those stepping into the commercial arena might plump for a consumer box, not understanding the other options out there.
Meanwhile, industrial PCs, built in small form factors and designed to be rugged and robust, may often be a better solution.
