Training tutorials specialist Infinite Skills has signed up Interactive Ideas to distribute its products as part of the vendor’s drive to boost its presence in the UK market.
Infinite Skills’ range includes DVD tutorials on using computer programmes such as Adobe Photoshop and web publishing tool WordPress.
“With this agreement, we are delighted to be able to offer a range of high quality affordable training DVDs that cover graphic design, video editing, audio and music creation, web design, business applications and programming languages,” said Interactive Ideas’ marketing director, Michael Breeze. “Interactive Ideas looks forward to supporting Infinite Skills’ expansion into the UK.”
Mike Spaulding, chief executive officer of Infinite Skills, added: “Combining our product line with the resources of a company like Interactive Ideas was an easy decision. We’re constantly looking for new ways to reach a wider consumer base, and now it will be easier than ever to bring professional quality video training to the offices, businesses and homes of our customers, no matter where they live.”
The Infinite Skills range currently includes hundreds of tutorials, including recently launched training for Microsoft Windows 7 and Apple Final Cut Pro 7. All the video formats used are cros-splatform compatible and, according to the vendor, the training emphasises practical skills as taught by experienced professionals.
As well as boxed products, Infinite Skills also provides downloadable tutorials that come with a custom-built media player that works on both Mac and PC. The firm says its customer service and innovation has made it the web’s leading e-learning provider.
