Imagine publishing has bought the specialist magazine Linux User & Developer and its associated website.
The new acquisition will see the magazine undergo a comprehensive redesign and a new strategy that includes broader global distribution, a redeveloped website and a new subscription offer.
“I firmly believe Imagine Publishing is the perfect home for Linux User & Developer,” said Linux User and Developer’s Maggie Meer.
“They will be able to take the brand to where I’ve always envisaged it, and I’m thrilled to still be part of this new chapter of its history as it grows. Going forward there is huge potential as the magazine evolves with this exciting, fast-paced industry.”
Launched in 1999, Linux User and Developer is the only magazine that specifically targets Linux professionals and is now in its 78th issue.
