Toshiba has presented its interpretation of the new ultrabook category – the Portégé Z830 Series – at this year’s IFA.
The firm boasts that the laptops are 20 per cent lighter and 40 per cent thinner than its R830 Series – which it describes as ultra-portable.
The laptops weigh less than 2.5 pounds, and have a 15.9 mm profile.
Spec wise, you can expect the latest second generation Intel Core processors, high speed DDR3 memory, 128GB solid state drive, and an LED Backlit and spill-resistant keyboard.
It will be available in November, and so far the only pricing info we have is that the range will ‘start at under $1000’.
