Apple’s iAd platform will launch today, but some software developers are already saying that they will be left out.
According to the Financial Times, a number of large enterprises have already signed up to the system, including Sears, Citigroup and Nissan, and have committed themselves to a $60 million spend this year.
However, Apple’s plans to delivering the ads to high end apps has raised fears that developers will be left out, with many saying that Apple has effectively blocked the ad developers delivery application of choice, Google Admob.
“Limiting our choices, especially by eliminating the largest mobile ad network out there, is definitely disconcerting,” said the chief executive of mobile social network, Mocospace.
