New smartphone will have up to six hours more talk time than the One X

HTC One X+ unveiled with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean; Coming to UK mid-October

HTC’s new One X+ smartphone will feature a 1.7GHz Tegra 3 processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Described as a reworking of their ‘best ever handset’ the One X, the One X+ will have more storage and improved battery life, with up to six hours more talk time than the One X.

The new smartphone has an 8mp rear camera with f/2.0 lens and ImageChip-assist. The camera features two new modes: Self Portrait, for subtle retouching, and Sightseeing, which allows for a quick launch of the camera app.

An online service will allow users to configure their homescreens and widgets and then download them to the device.

HTC has revealed that the One X+ will launch within the next two weeks but haven’t announced any details about pricing as of yet.
