HTC have slashed the price of the 7-inch HTC Flyer tablet with the device appearing for $299 in the US and £329 in the UK.
Originally launched at the eye watering price of £479, the sleek well-made and stylus equipped Android tablet has experienced an overdue price cut.
Amazon is now offering the HTC Flyer 16GB model for £329 while the US Best Buy chain has dropped the price to $299.
Unlike larger 10-inch Android tablets the HTC Flyer is based on the smartphone operating system Android Gingerbread 2.3.
HTC bundles the tablet with a number of handy applications based around the built-in capacitive stylus. The applications provide the ability to take notes and annotate over the top of existing documents and presentations.
