Documents point to 1.2GHz dual-core CPU

HP webOS 9.7-inch Topaz tablet specs leaked

Leaked specifications have appeared for upcoming HP webOS tablet Topaz which suggest a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.

Palm/webOS enthusiast site precentral.net obtained leaked documents which describe the specifications of the 9.7-inch Topaz tablet previously revealed by Engadget in another leak.

The Topaz looks to be available in a Wi-Fi only version or as a HSPA and LTE mobile network version, a similar strategy suggested for the 7-inch Opal.

The leaked documents suggests the 9.7-inch Topaz tablet offers a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, the same as the first generation iPad.

16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options will be available and as suggested by Engadget’s leaked photos of the smaller ‘Opal’ tablet, there will be just three buttons on the device. Power, volume up and volume down with other functions accessed via a multi-touch gesture system.

HP are set to hold a press event on the 9th of February where the firm promises further details, jokingly telling journalists that there would even be information that hadn’t yet appeared on Engadget.
