Apple is set to unveil some updates to its latest iPhone models as well as iOS 9 at a special event tomorrow (September 9th).
Taking place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco at 10am local time (6pm BST), those not lucky enough to be invited down can watch the keynote as it happens via a livestream – as long as you have the right hardware.
For those watching on their Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod, as long as you’re running iOS 7.0 or later you can watch it via the Safari browser here.
On Mac, you’ll need OS X 10.8.5 or later to view it from the same link.
And if you’re on a PC you can still check out what Apple unveils via the Windows 10 Edge browser.
So, what new tech can we expect from Apple this year?
Well, it seems pretty much a given that this event will focus on the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The ‘S’ upgrades don’t usually reveal any major design changes, but there are rumours that this one will introduce more colours to the range, possibly rose gold and pink.
In terms of new features, there’s a chance that they will have Force Touch technology, meaning the device will be able to tell the difference between a tap and a press. A 12MP camera is also expected along with the Apple A9 chip and the M9 motion co-processor.
Apple’s iOS 9 is sure to get some attention at the keynote. The mobile operating system was detailed in June’s WWDC and promises to learn your habits and suggest apps. iOS 9 is also set to address the battery life issues with iPhones.
Judging by Apple’s signage for the event, which reads: “Hey Siri, give us a hint”, we’re pretty sure they’ll be some new Siri features too.
