HannStar Display has announced that net sales for December totalled $193 million, which was an increase of 7.9 per cent over December 2006. Revenues for the whole year reached $2 billion, an increase of 31.5 per cent on 2006.However, the December sales figures were down 20.7 per cent on the previous month.
Shipments of LCD panels, which include portable displays, monitors panels and HannsG monitors, reached 1.5 million units last month. According to HannStar, this is an increase of 6.5 per cent on the same period in 2006.
