Consumer electronics vendor Hannspree will open a 1483 square foot store in London's Westfield shopping centre next month.
The site will provide a showcase for Hannspree's portfolio – which includes monitors, tablets and digital picture frames – as it looks to increase its presence in the UK market.
The firm implys more dedicated stores will follow.
Prominent branding on busses and taxis has been put in place to support the launch, while Hannspree has also teamed up with the Westfield Centre as lead partner for its Christmas 2010 Ice Kingdom event.
“Westfield London was our first choice UK destination for the new store and we are extremely pleased to be in a position to announce the opening after a year of planning,” says Martin Kent, territory manager for UK and Northern Europe.
“Our products really do stand out on the shelf, so it is fantastic to finally have a hub where we can really showcase the designs and construction that make Hannspree products so unique. Westfield London boasts a heavy footfall, ideal location and unrivalled partner support for retailers. Already Westfield London has been very supportive in getting the store up and running and has big, exciting plans for the store opening event in November.”
