Rockstar confirms it is looking into some issues

GTA Online servers struggling to cope with demand

As Grand Theft Auto Online went live this morning, players have reported a host of problems with the game.

It seems GTA Online’s servers are struggling to cope with the demand from eager gamers. Some report failed login attempts and game freezing, while other are experiencing progress loss issues.

Rockstar has confirmed that it is looking into a bug that appears to crash the game for some users when trying to enter the first race.

Grand Theft Auto Online went live this morning via 59MB Xbox Live and 39MB PlayStation network download.

Last week, Rockstar confirmed that GTA Online would include microtransactions, but said they won’t help players out-rank others, unlike Diablo 3’s auction houses.
