Damon Albarn claims to have created music on Apple device

Gorillaz record album on iPad

The frontman of cartoon pop group Gorillaz has claimed that he made his forthcoming album on the iPad.

In an interview with NME, Damon Albarn said that he created the follow-up to the Plastic Beach album in a succession of hotel rooms while on tour in the United States.

“I’ve made it on an iPad – I hope I’ll be making the first record on an iPad,” said Albarn. “I fell in love with my iPad as soon as I got it, so I’ve made a completely different kind of record.”

His comments come just after the band was signed up to promote the beta release of the newest incarnation of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, claiming that the software was like a “wizards portal”.
