Google has launched a new version of the photo management software Picasa, taking the version to 3.9 while adding Google+ sharing and tagging.
The Picasa client is designed to sync photos with Google's Picasaweb service as well as catalog, process and share select photos and albums. The software now offers a simple "Share on Google+" button for adding albums on Google's
social networking service.
The software also adds 24 new photo editing effects, side by side photo comparisons and a new simplified tray interface, Google said.
Picasa 3.9 is available for Windows and Mac and can be downloaded from the Picasa web site.
