Gigabyte Technology told the Chinese-language Commercial Times that they expect shipments to grow 10.5 per cent in 2008, with a similar growth of ten per cent for graphics card shipments.Gigabyte shipped 19 million motherboards in 2007 and believe the figure will reach 21 million by the end of 2008.
The vendor's revenue in the first quarter is expected to be on level with the previous quarter, with an year-on-year growth of ten per cent.
Gigabyte has also revealed plans to ship and manufacture a low-cost PC in the second quarter.
