SMB Partner Sales Manager Alex Smith to present at conference and expo

Get free Microsoft training and $100 Azure credit at PCR Boot Camp

Microsoft, headline partner at next month’s PCR Boot Camp, will be offering free training sessions around its modern server platform at the event.

Those who attend the session will also receive $100 in credit for Microsoft’s cloud computing platform Azure. Microsoft will have an exclusive meeting room for the duration of the event, allowing them to host the training sessions and display products.

The 2015 PCR Boot Camp conference and expo will take place at Whittlebury Hall on May 14th. It’s completely free for retailers, resellers and system builders, who can sign up here.

Alex Smith, Microsoft’s Partner Sales Manager for SMB, will also be presenting at the morning conference.

"PCR Boot Camp is a great opportunity for us to meet the resellers face to face and is a chance for them to learn more about our newer products and trial them," a Microsoft spokesperson told PCR.

"Microsoft will be hosting regular training sessions around the modern Server Platform with a particular focus around the Hybrid solution. We will offer four repeated training slots (around 45 minutes in length). Attendees of the training session will receive $100 of Azure credit to trial themselves."

The news comes ahead of the Windows Server 2003’s end of life date in July. PCR is hosting a special webinar on April 28th which will examine what businesses need to do and how they can go about doing it to keep their organisations risk free.

PCR Editor Dominic Sacco will interview Patrik Bihammar, Hybrid Cloud Business Lead at Microsoft, on these issues and ask questions that viewers can submit prior to the event. Simply sign up here to view the webinar.
