With specific focus on 7”, 8” and 10” tablets, mobile internet devices and Sat Nav, Gemini will seek to leverage a low cost base whilst delivering value to the consumer.
Bobby Watkins will lead the launch and management of the commercial operation. The former Acer UK managing director commented: “Gemini offers value to the consumer in a moment when all house-holds are watching their budgets. Without compromising functionality with products such as the JoyTab, Gemini offers excellent value to the consumer, whilst looking to help resellers and retailers to make money in a challenging market place”.
Focused on the mobile consumer electronics market, Gemini is a value oriented brand which benefits from manufacturing in China, and is already delivering over two million devices a year.
“We will look to work in partnership with resellers to build a sustainable business together,” concluded Watkins.
