UK distributor Gem is pushing its pocket-cam category in the run up to Christmas, as it takes on new products in the increasingly popular sector. Gem now stocks the Flip Video Ultra a point and shoot camera that with a price tag of £99.99. It also carries the Ultra’s younger brother, the Flip Mino, which is 40 per cent thinner.
The Creative Vado and Kodak’s Zi6 HD pocket-cam are also gracing Gem’s shelves this Christmas and Gem has created an FSDU to support the category at retail.
Gem’s commercial director, Simon Lee commented: “Gem is the only distributor to offer the channel the four market leading products in the pocket-cam category, providing a rare and exciting opportunity to give our customers unrivalled choice.”
