Periperhals manufacturer will now look to expand further

Gaming firm Mionix secures investment

Gaming peripherals firm Mionix has announced that it’s secured capital that will enable it to expand further.

The Sweden-based company designs, develops and sells peripherals aimed specifically at gamers, including mice, keyboards, headsets and mousepads.

It has found investment from Swedish venture capital firm Almi Invest, alongside investors Hampus Jakobsson, Magnus Kenneby and Carl Silbersky. The company’s founder and CEO Peter Nygren will continue to be the majority shareholder.

There are six people working at Mionix currently, and it expects to grow significantly over the next year.

"Our investment makes it possible for the company to increase in sales and to grow internationally," commented Maria Kristiansson, Investment Manager at Almi Invest.

"Our goal is to be the best. We aim to win every new award and accolade for all our products. The products are developed with passion, with the help of broad market research and end user feedback," says Peter Nygren, CEO at Mionix.

Mionix gaming peripherals are distributed by Meroncourt in the UK.
