Today marks the start of the first London Gadget Show Live, and the organisers are intending for it to be just as gadget-packed as its popular Birmingham-based events.
Gadget Show Live Christmas takes place at London’s Excel centre from Friday November 30th to Sunday December 2nd and features a whole host of new gadgets and technology from leading computer manufacturers to brand new startups trying to get their name out there.
The event has only been open for a short while and already the Excel centre is packed full of consumers and gadget enthusiasts, all intending to get their hands on the latest games, toys and tech gifts to complete (or possibly start) their Christmas shopping list.
With a number of triple-A titles released for the holiday season, a visit to the Game Zone is on everyone’s agenda, from developers such as EA and 2K Studios showing off their latest offerings, to peripherals manufacturer ROCCAT, demonstrating its latest range of gaming mice, and Turtle Beach demonstrating its popular gaming headsets.
It’s not just video games that are grabbing the attention of visitors. With tablets being predicted as one of the top selling gadgets for the holidays, The Gadget Show Live Christmas has attracted a hoard of manufacturers showcasing innovative speakers, headphones, cases and chargers. Veho returns once again to demonstrate its series of Bluetooth speakers, Cygnett is here with its extensive range of mobile device cases, and Mi Technologies offers a peek at its latest Apple-approved products.
The organisers have promised that this event will be ‘just as gadget-tastic as the Birmingham show’, and so far it looks set to be just that.
