It’s Friday, and in the world of Twitter that can only mean one thing – #FF.

Windows 8 may not be out until next month, but those getting to grips with the release preview can explore the new app store right now.

Here’s some Twitter accounts of the most interesting apps we’ve found so far:

Slacker Radio
Claiming to have to most personalised content of any radio service, Slacker Radio combines the knowledge of the nation’s leading music experts from every genre with your own personal taste to create ‘perfect’ radio stations.

Cocktail Flow
Users can select the ingredients present in their home cabinet from the application’s virtual cabinet and Cocktail Flow will present them with fancy drinks that can be made from what they own.

Inrix
This app provides detailed real-time traffic conditions from around the world, ideal for use on a Windows 8 tablet

Star Chart
Using state of the art GPS technology, an accurate 3D Universe, and high tech mobile device functionality, Star Chart calculates – in real time – the current location of every star and planet visible from earth and shows you where they are.

XE Currency
XE is the world’s most visited currency site offering a currency converter and other tools, and the company has now developed an app for Windows 8.

FlipToast
This app consolidates posts from your Facebook and Twitter accounts and presents them in an easily searchable layout.

Windows 8 will be released on October 25th.
