The first online advert has appeared for Microsoft's upcoming Windows Phone 7 range of smartphones.
The advert was screened prior to the Secret Cinema screening of Lawrence of Arabia and features an indistinct black shape, evocative of desert scenes in the classic movie, which resolves to an image of a phone.
"The revolution is coming" appears on the phone before an animed sequence of Windows Phone 7 UI . The ad has been posted to a new Windows Phone 7 YouTube channel. You can see it below:
