The first reviews of Microsoft's Office 2008 for Mac have begun being published, with the majority looking upon the software positively. One of the aspects that has been praised include the speed at which the program operates, thanks to it being the first version of the software having been written specifically for Intel-based Macs.
Jupiter Research's Michael Gartenberg was amongst those that praised the software, saying: "Microsoft got a lot correct in this release and if you use a Macintosh, especially in a corporate environment with Exchange, this is a must-get upgrade."
The software will be available in retail later this month, after it is official launch at MacWorld Expo.
