Fayrewood, the parent company of Interface Solutions, has confirmed that it is in discussions to sell the UK distributor after a sudden spike in its share price. The news of talks follows on from the sale of its French arm, Banque Magnetique, to DCC-owned Gem last month.
Interface's managing director, Keith Negal, had last month said he was expecting a cash boost from Fayrewood.
"The company notes the recent movement in its share price and confirms that it is in talks with a third party which may or may not lead to an offer being made for all or part of the company," Fayrewood said in a statement.
