Buy It Direct has laid down the gauntlet to distributors after it claimed it could supply laptops to resellers cheaper than they can.
Speaking to PCR, managing director of Laptops Direct's parent company Buy It Direct, Nick Glynne said that the company's focus on laptops and its specialist buying teams could help give resellers the edge over their rivals.
"We have a specialist buying team which is able to buy the products at highly competitive prices. We pass these savings down the line, which means that our customers can be assured that they're getting the best price point possible. In many cases, our resellers can get better prices than they would from the distributors."
