London – September 19, 2016 – MBN Events and NewBay Media today announced the remaining finalists in the running to pick up an award at the inaugural eSports Industry Awards, taking place at The Brewery on November 21. These new finalists join those previously announced in July, as a recognition of their outstanding contribution to the world of eSports over the past year.
In addition to winners being selected by a panel of well respected professionals from the eSports industry – Alan “Bricey” Brice; Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles; Paul Chaloner; Michael O’Dell; Chris Mead; Duncan Shields; Philippa Warr; Calvin Robinson and Chris Thursten – three of the awards will be decided by public votes.
Anyone casting their vote for eSports Journalist, eSports photographer or New eSports Game will have the opportunity to claim a 30 day free trial of NOW TV, gaining access to its top line up of channels and content. To have your say, head to the official eSports Industry Awards website.
In association with NOW TV, the eSports Industry Awards will not only celebrate the excellence of individual players and teams, but the hardware providers, game publishers, event organisers, streamers, journalists, broadcasters and more who work tirelessly to grow the sector internationally. Broadcast live on Twitch in conjunction with Gfinity, the event will be hosted by games industry commentator and presenter Julia Hardy and the Gadget Show’s Jason Bradbury.
