East Sussex-based system assembler Epic Computers has entered administration, after recent financial troubles at the company forced meant it could not carry on operating.
The fate if the company emerged after the firm appointed to oversee its liquidation wrote to creditors, and subsquently was leaked to CRN.
The full scale of the company's problems emerged last week when reports began emerging that several distributors had put the company on their watch lists over concerns about its continued viability.
The company supplied resellers, software developers and OEMs across the UK with a range of own brand products, including PCs, servers and networking equipment.
