EntaTech has signed a deal to stock Gateway’s server and storage products, expanding the distributor’s portfolio further.
Jon Atherton, EntaTech’s commercial group vice president, said: “We have been searching for a suitable manufacturer that can offer server solutions which are flexible to our customer needs. Gateway offers great margin opportunities for our resellers whilst maintaining high quality standards; we are launching with servers but plan to introduce other products from Gateway’s range in the near future.”
Gateway is focused on professional channel business for the B2B segment, which EntaTech says is a market it is well-placed to support.
Nathan Knight, country head at Gateway, said: “We are very pleased to offer the joint Gateway/Hitachi Data Systems storage solutions to the channel through EntaTech. Gateway Storage delivers the very best of the HDS Enterprise Class Storage through a value-driven portfolio to the SMB and mid-market, we expect EntaTech's dealer community to respond very well to a new point of difference in the storage space'.
The two firms are currently setting up a network of selected sales partners.
