Entatech adds ruggedized PCs to portfolio after striking deal with Getac

Entatech UK Ltd has announced a new distribution agreement with ruggedized PC manufacturer Getac.

Getac was established more than 25 years ago, and today has a team of over 300 engineers, developing ruggedized computers for military, police, government, communications, manufacturing and transportation applications.

Its products are designed for outdoor working, dual-battery power and power management for prolonged use, and for a reliable and durable PC solution.

Entatech says the inclusion of Getac to its product portfolio has "greatly bolstered" the distributor’s current laptop and tablet PC offering, with Getac offering a range of screen sizes, technologies and operating systems.

Available from Entatech is the V110 11.6-inch ruggedized convertible PC, weighing 1.98kg and with a measurement of 34mm, it is 27 per cent lighter and 30 per cent thinner than the previous generation. It boasts 5th generation Intel Core processors.

Also available at Entatech is the compact seven-inch Z710 tablet ideal for working on the go. Powered by Android OS, with ultra-sensitive multi-touch capacitive technology, the device also has integrated LumiBond technology which reduces sunlight reflections.

“Getac delivers a differentiated product which addresses the pain points of a distinct set of customers. Entatech will complement Getac’s strengths by ensuring that resellers can promote Getac’s ruggedized products with confidence,” said Dave Stevinson, Entatech MD.
