The UK provider has announced it will offer shared 4G data plans for both smartphones and tablet in an attempt to sign up more customer for the service.
EE announced the decision as it revealed it had surpassed 500,000 subscribers to the super fast service.
The new data plans to be offered by the provider will allow users to share their data across multiple smartphone and tablet devices, whilst maintaining only one contract and price plan.
However, EE has yet to reveal pricing of these new plans, but promised it would shed more light on them in the coming weeks, in addition to detailing its upcoming pay as you go broadband tariffs.
During the event held in London, EE CEO Olaf Swantee said: "We recognise that with 4G, customers connect to the things they care about more frequently, across more devices."
"Our Shared 4GEE plans and Pay as You Go 4GEE Mobile Broadband will offer our customers more ways to do this."
Customers have largely been wary of adopting the 4G service due to the high costs involved, instead holding out until rival providers such as O2 and Vodafone launch their own service later in the year, which will inevitably see the market become more competitively priced.
Claiming over 500,000 4G subscribers, EE has managed to attract 120,000 new customers in just one month, and is half way to meeting its 2013 task of signing up one million customers to the service.
