Dell has filed a lawsuit against five LCD display vendors including Toshiba, Hitachi and Sharp for allegedly forming an illegal cartel.
The suit was filed in a San Francisco court on Friday against the firms, which also included Seiko Epson and Taiwanese firm HannStar, a Dell spokesman told Reuters.
Dell has not yet decided how much it will seek in damages for the alleged price fixing.
Sharp and Hitachi told Reuters they were aware of the lawsuit, while Toshiba and Seiko Epson said they were still looking into the issue. HannStar has not yet commented.
