The Professional Computing Association’s ‘Issues’ conference will play host to the first public outlining of Dell’s intentions in the UK's PC retail channel. Recently appointed UK channel director Andy Dow will give a presentation laying out Dell’s specific strategy, after the direct seller announced last year it intended to formally establish itself within the channel.
Speaking to PC Retail, CEO of the PCA Keith Warburton said: “Dell’s entry into the market place is probably the most significant event the channel will see this year.
"The PCA is delighted Dell has chosen to make its first channel presentation through our conference. To celebrate, we are opening the event to all resellers, PCA members or not."
Alongside Dell, guest speakers at the event include representatives from the British Computer Society, GfK, BT Tradespace, Netgear, PandA Finance, BTC, Fix It Local and Panda Security.
The conference will take place on February 19th at The Park Royal hotel, Warrington.
