PC vendor Dell has decided not to release its ambitious digital music player, tied to online entertainment software, before Christmas, according to the Wall Street Journal.Dell had been experimenting with an MP3 player that utilises an entertainment software suite called Zing and a release had been anticipated this autumn. However, the firm has decided to shelve the player indefinitely and proceed with just the software.
The Zing software is an organiser for downloaded music and movies on PC.
