Dell has lowered the deal registration threshold for members of Partner Direct in a bid to increase sales into the UK's 4.4m small and medium sized businesses.
Deals worth £20,000 for PCs, servers and imaging, and £10,000 for storage products would be eligible under the new scheme. The change means that resellers no longer have to secure deals worth more than £30,000 to access Dell's special pricing, pre-sales support, and other resources.
"PartnerDirect was devised through the feedback of partners, and their continued input has led to us taking this action," commented EMEA channel marketing and programmes director Kathy Schnieder.
"Partners told us this would help them significantly since it broadens the coverage of the deal registration benefits. The support we can offer to deals above the new threshold will help them deliver stronger solutions faster and provide better value for their end customers."
