Dell has announced that Paul Harrison, head of its UK channel business, is leaving after 11 years at the firm.
Partners were sent an email today revealing the news.
Bill O’Shea will take on Harrison’s work immediately, with the title UK commercial channel director. For the past two years, O’Shea has been leading Dell’s UK channel account management team in Dublin. Harrison will work with O’Shea for the handover.
Harrison had been at Dell since 2001, and was promoted to head of the UK channel business in 2009 after previous head Andy Dow left.
Emmanuel Mouquet, vice president of EMEA channel sales at Dell, told partners in the email: "This is sad news to us, as Paul has been with Dell for 11 years, and he has been a great contributor to our EMEA channel team over the past two and a half years.
“Bill is a Dell veteran with intimate knowledge of our UK channel business, and he has personal relationships with many of your organisations already,"
Channel Register has reported that Harrison will be joining Hitachi Data Systems.
